UCD Cinema provides a state of the art cinema as an exclusive venue for your cinema party.

You can bring a movie, use one from our collection, or you can have a private screening of the latest film! It's all possible.

We are an 86 seater auditorium with 2 additional accessible spaces.

New Release

Screen one of the latest blockbusters for your party. (Subject to availability)

€300 for the first twenty kids €10 for each additional seat

Streaming & DVD/Blu-Ray

Watch a movie from Netflix, Disney+ or Amazon Prime in stunning 4K on our 4K AppleTV, or bring your own DVD or Blu-Ray. €200 for the first twenty kids €5 for each additional seat *Additional charge may be incurred for movies that aren’t yet available from streaming services and need to be purchased. Bookings are two hours long and Adults are admitted for free Note additional fees may apply during use of certain films via our Apple TV System.

PRICING & BOOKING FAQs

How do I pay for my booking?

Upon confirmation of your selected date and time, you will receive an online payment link to pay for your booking. Please note that bookings are not confirmed until paid in full.

Can I cancel my booking?

Bookings can be amended and/or canceled up to 7 days before the event, and receive a full refund if the event is cancelled. Bookings canceled within 7 days will not be refunded.

How long is a UCD Cinema Private Booking?

Yes, all customers must agree to our venue hire terms and conditions by signing a digital contract. We encourage you to read this document to be familiar with our terms. Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received and the contract signed.

Payment and Fees

What if I have more guests on the day than I booked?

Additional admissions can be purchased on the day of your booking at the UCD Cinema reception, and will be charged at the allocated per-head rate depending on the type of booking you have selected.

Are there additional fees for large groups?

Yes, groups of 30 or more will have a €100 cleaning deposit held on their card prior to the booking. This will be released after the Duty Manager has deemed the cinema was left in an acceptable state after the party.

We ask that you please leave the cinema as you found it, as we are a small independent cinema and want everyone’s cinema experience to be the best that it can be.

Picking Your Movie

What films can I watch in UCD Cinema?

The most popular way is to stream a movie from a service such as Netflix, Disney+ or Amazon Prime - all of which we have available for you to use in stunning 4K. You do not need your own account.

The selected title must be covered under our exhibition license from MPLC and approved. It must be age-appropriate and adhere to IFCO Guidelines.

Can I watch a New Release?

We can enquire about new releases however these are subject to availability and agreement. 

Can I bring a DVD or Blu-Ray? 

Yes, we have a DVD and Blu-Ray player, however, we recommend streaming or purchasing a movie through us as DVDs and Blu-Rays are not 4K quality.

 

What If I change my mind? 

If you are watching a movie provided by us you can change your mind up until 72 hours before your booking. If you are bringing your own DVD, the final choice of film must be confirmed at least 7 days before the event, after which it cannot be changed.  New Release bookings, once confirmed, cannot be changed
